I underwent an emergency caesarean section last month at NMGH. The care I received was fantastic on all the wards - maternity assessment unit, antenatal ward, labour ward and especially the postnatal ward. The midwives on the postnatal ward in particular could not have been more helpful and kind as I was recovering from surgery and trying to look after a newborn baby at the same time.

The postnatal checks for both the baby and myself were done thoroughly and efficiently and I was able to go home within 48 hours of the section. I am extremely grateful to all of the staff who looked after me during my stay.
