"slow recovery but feeling much better"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Heart failure team

(as the patient),

After having a fall walking my dog I was helped by men working at the Willwood Avenue home. They called an ambulance. After many tests for breathlessness, Dr Welch fitted a pacemaker!

It has been a slow recovery, but with help from the heart nurse and of course the hospital staff I am feeling much better, but being 84yrs old I am thankful to all concerned.

Dear Impact847

Thanks for leaving this feedback which has been shared with Lucy Lees, Community Cardiac Rehab Sister. She would like to say;

"Thank you for taking the time to express your thanks for the care you have received from your Heart Failure Nurse Specialist.

All our team members are very dedicated and are proud to receive such acknowledgement. The Heart Failure Nurses provide support to patient’s during their often prolonged recovery and it is commendable that you feel your nurse, along with members of the wider NHS team, has helped you to feel much better. May I wish you continued improvement.

Thanks

Lucy"
