"slab of meat"

About: Heartlands Hospital

Anything else?

At the A&E ward a man looked me up and down and pointed at me as if was a sla b of meat. He then turned and walked away without a word. Apparently he wasn't a horse trader but an admission's officer. You can change a hospital's name but not, apparently, it's culture. I am not a second rate, insignificant patient. I am a client. Until thospital administrators realise we are human beings and not commodities nothing will change.
