"Will never go back to this hospital"

Anything else?

I broke my leg on December the 1st last year and all my appointments had been in West berks hospital in reading until my cast was due to be taken off they offered me a place in newbury hospital to take my cast off. i was seen straight away and they took it off with no trouble. however, i waited 15 minutes for the nurse to find the doctor to send me home. He never offered an x-ray he just pushed it in every direction and said 'if it doesn't hurt and it's legal, do it' i was very shocked with the lack of professional language. The next day i returned to minor injuries as i was in so much pain and i knew it wasn't right. the lady i saw made me feel very stupid about coming back and said 'it's that swollen because of your age' again i was not satisfied. A month and a half later i was still in a lot of pain so i went to my GP and they referred me back to get an x-ray that was fine. 1 week later i find out my leg is still broken 3 months after i broke it!! I went straight back to minor injuries as walking on it for just under 2months with no support could of caused more damage. The women i saw was very rude until demanded she did something then palming me off again. She accused me of stealing crutches last time even though i have my own and she said that they don't x-ray every time a cast comes off my answer was why not it doesn't cost a lot and it's quick. Her reply was just we just don't. Very unsatisfying and will rather make the 20 mile journey to reading or basingstoke in future.
