"Thank you ward 8"

My Nan has been an inpatient for some weeks recently, most of her stay was on ward 8. I wanted to express my heart felt thanks for the excellent care she recieved. Speaking as a Sister from another hospital I have to say Nan was always clean, comfortable, treated with care and dignity and very well looked after. I live some way from the hospital and have small children, so was allowed at times to visit outside the usual hours as it was hard for me to get to see Nan, this was a great help. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and I can't thank them enough. I also want to thank the discharge liason team for their help too. Nan is in a nursing home now, she didn't want to leave ward 8 but is starting to settle now. An excellent ward
