"Accused of wasting the doctor's time in A&E"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I am a patient with an extensive cardiac history and was diagnosed as suffering from coronary artery spasm's in 2008.

In late February 2013, I attended the A&E department presenting with severe chest pains. After being seen by a fantastic cardiac nurse and given morphine, I was seen by the most rude and obnoxious doctor I have ever met.

I was told that I was not and never have been suffering from artery spasm's and that I shouldn't be in the department wasting their time.

Despite trying to explain I have been on medication for this condition for a number of years, the doctor told me they couldn't understand why I was on any medication at all and that there was nothing wrong with me at all. I was then discharged home despite being in severe pain.

If I am ever admitted to A&E again I would refuse to be seen by this doctor. How can they say I don't have a condition for which I have been receiving treatment for years?
