I also cant get therapy because my mental health is too unstable and I am too unwell as have psychotic illness. When my Psychiatrist referred me to Psychotherapy services all said couldnt help me. I want CBT to help me manage my voices as I have read and met people who are helped by this. But told cant get it.
I think its because they cant easily measure me as being a success so they dont take me on as the government wont fund these services. I keep getting admitted to hospital and medication doses go up and then down when I am in community. Just want a chance at therapy. It's ironic they call them trusts because I have no trust in them.
