I have been told that I need a knee replacement by 3 different consultants at different hospitals. I chose to come to the nearest hospital to my home and was happy at first,I have had many appointments over the past year and yet again the conclusion was that I needed the op. At my last outpatients (Aug) I was told that an athroscopy would be performed, now this is the 4th time someone has been inside my knee to have a look, I know I am young at 44 for a knee replacement but if that is what I need why cannot it just happen instead of humming and arrring.
