Anything else?
After becoming frustrated at being unable to speak with the department I needed to, I was passed onto a Patient Experience Officer to help resolve the situation. They immediatley took ownership and control of the situation and communicated regularly and efficiently with me until the situation was successfully resolved.
But it didn't end there... as I then required further medication for my son, due to changing the appointment time (at our request) for the review with the doctor, they and the doctor arranged for the medication to be sent to our home and when I asked for it to be sent to work instead, this was duly obliged.
So a big thank you to the officer and doctor for first class customer service - an absolute credit to the Trust.
