"out patients oppointment"

Anything else?

my appointment was for 2.15, arrived in plenty of time as we had an hour plus journey. had a coffee in the cafe and booked in for appointment at 2.00pm. the sign in the waiting area said if you were not seen within 20mins of appointment time to inform reception. i completly understand that doctors can overun in time but still sitting in a small hot stuffy full waiting area over 2 hours later is NOT acceptable. when complaining to the reception i was told "your next". another 20mins later i was seen. no real appology, just an afternoon of exhaustion. why cant patients be informed of delays, its only polite as we are expected to give notice of delays of cancellations.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent experience in the outpatient department at the Mount Gould Local Care centre, which I have shared with the manager of the department.

It is extremely unusual for clinics to run this late and would like to apologise that your experience was unsatisfactory on this occasion. We are reflecting on your experience and will do what we can to improve communication with patients when managing delays in the department.
