I attended the walk-in centre last Monday 18 February, with an acute pain in the ball of my foot. I was x-rayed and referred to the emergency podiatry services at Parsons Green, open 08:30 - 12:30 and 17: - 19:30 Monday and 17:00 - 19:30 Wednesday. Since I was laid up all last week, I decided to attend the podiatry clinic this morning. I got there at 12:00 and was told it had finished. The information from CXH was wrong. I do not appreciate having spent nearly two hours travelling, in the cold, in pain, at the age of 70, for nothing.
