I recently gave birth to my third child with the support of the Green Team Community Midwives. As with our other children, we chose a home birth, and once again received professional care at every stage of the pregnancy and labour. The three midwives were friendly and caring at all times, respecting our decisions and explaining any advice on medical procedures carefully. We feel very lucky to have been able to have all our children at home, safe in the knowledge that medical help was available at the Royal Free should we require it. The midwives do a wonderful job and we hope they are able to continue supporting home births in this way and setting such a good example to other health care providers.
