My Mum was in Ward 26 for almost a month following a collapse. She is almost 91 and suffers from dementia, and as it turns out, colon cancer. The staff and medical teams on the Ward were excellent and I cannot thank them enough for the care, concern and kindness they gave to Mum. There were a number of things wrong with Mum and I was so impressed and the way in which all tests were carried out. I am Mum's only child and live in Kent and although I was in Blackpool for most of the time, when I was phoning from home, the staff who answered my calls were helpful, efficient and kind even though they were so busy. Mum has been at the Clifton Hospital and has just gone to a Nursing home and again, the help I have had from the Discharge teams has been exemplary. Thank you so much to all of you.
