"Appointment waiting times"

Since being treated for the last three years in two different clinics I have never had a follow up appointment any where near the Drs requested due date, my appointments have ranged between two - three months late, I have even been overlooked altogether.I have sent letters and rang the outpatients department but they are not very helpful.I never had these problems when you were given your next appointment before you left the clinic. I think this wait till we send for you system needs to be looked into because it is letting patients down and this could mean the difference beween life and death for some of us.
