"a massive thank you to all the staff"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Accident & emergency West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I dropped a glass which shattered and pierced a vein in my foot, the medics could not stop the bleeding.

I was taken by ambulance to A & E Good Hope.

I asked the staff, could they see to quickly as I was waiting to go to my dad's birthday party.

I was seen by the duty doctor within 20 minutes, who then stitched me up gave me pain killers, and escorted me personally down to X Ray.

From entering the hospital, to getting stitched up and X Rayed, was an incredible one and a half hours.

I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff (especially) the doctor who made sure I made the party.

Thank you for your feedback and I hope that you have made a good recovery. I would be grateful if you would consider contacting the Patient Experience Team on telephone number on 01384 246366 or via email at pals@wmas.nhs.uk so we can obtain further information and with your agreement share your comments with the attending ambulance crew.

Kind regards
