"Thanks to all for continuing care after a fall"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as the patient),

I first went into Queens Hospital in Nov 2007, after a fall. I was treated well, and did as they asked regarding my own well being. They are always so busy, but always helpful.

After a few weeks being at home in Feb 2008, things started to go wrong. I was re admitted and again sorted out, but not yet able to find cause of the intense leg pain. I spent some time in rehabilitation, still in pain.

Back to Queens in March 2008, where the cause of pain was finally found. Another operation with metal work removed and a plate inserted, which is working well, and given every help I could need. I’ve been home now nearly 3weeks.

My reason for this story is that if you enter hospital with the positive thought of over coming whatever problem you have, the help is there if you are prepared to listen and do as they ask. By the way, food is good and plenty of choice. Many thanks to all!
