My 90 yo Mum had a fall and was diagnosed with a fractured hip.
After being taken to A&E, she had a partial hip op (new ball joint only). Unfortunately, the ball joint became displaced from the socket and, despite being re-fixed into place, it dislocated again. Eventually, a full hip op was performed.
