"finally diagnosed I had anal cancer - not..."

About: Clatterbridge Hospital

Anything else?

After 18 months of treatmentat at Arrowe Park for supposedly abscesses, I was referred to another consultant who straight away took a biopsy and within 2 weeks was diagnosed with anal cancer. I was seen pretty quickly by the team at Clatterbridge to discuss the way forward with treatment. I had chemo & radio therapy for 6 weeks. 15 months later I am doing really well, thanks to the treatment given. The staff were great great at Clatterbridge - thank you, especially the staff on Mersey Ward and the consultant and his team !!!!
