I was a patient on ward 34E at the Barnsley District General hospital following a hip replacement. The best thing about the way in which I was treated was being told in advance about how the operation would be carried out - I liked this as it showed respect.
The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet facilities.
