I was an outpatient in the Day Surgery Unit at the Queen's Medical Centre for the removal of my gall bladder. The standard of care which I received was very good - I had every confidence in the anaesthetist and surgeon and my results (1 week later) are very good so far. The aftercare ahs also been very good, as a nurse rang me the next day as promised.
