I have had ongoing problems with my eyes such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma and Thyroid Eye Disease for many years. I have moved all over the country and found the Opthamology service excellent. Then I moved and came under the 'care' of East Lancs! My 'care' has been appalling! The medication prescribed not written in my notes and worse, yes it does get worse, one Doctor I saw actually lied to her consultant about what was discussed at the consultation. Would I recommend this hospital, well what do you think? Peaple of Lancashire please go anywhere rather than Burnley Hospital!
