"My late sons treatment in wards 40 and 41"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My late son was treated in wards 40 and 41 Osbourne house ,having experienced some poor standards in the NHS in the past I have been shown what the NHS can acomplish when organised and staffed by dedicated people. The standard of care ,kindness and compassion shown was unbeatable.

Family and friends were at my sons bedside during the final week of his life so I had the observe at first hand what the NHS can do when properly organised, the doctors, nurses, care assistants and the external support staff worked as a first rate team.dealing with patients with compassion and professionalism. The Matrons and Doctors are to be congratulated for their leadership

Thank you for your kind words, we are deeply sorry for the loss of your son, but we're glad to hear that you experienced a high level of compassion, care and professionalism during this difficult time for you and your family. We will pass on your comment to the staff on Wards 40 and 41 at Osbourne house, as well as a thanks to the matrons and doctors as mentioned.
