About: Hillingdon Hospital

Anything else?

On 13.2.13 I was taken to A & E. My daughter attended with me. I was left in A & E with no attention at all. No-one checked to ascertain if I required the toilet etc. Eventually a doctor came and requested x-ray for kidneys. This was performed quite quickly. It was then decided to keep me in . The next day 14.02.13 they decided to discharge me although my daughter had stressed that she did not consider me capable of coping at home at this stage. Could not get up or move due to severe pain around kidneys. When my daughter wwent to take me home she found that I had been left sitting in a chair and that my pads (2) were so et they could have been wrung out. She took me to the toilet to change these herself prior to me leaving the hospital. On arrival at home my daughter immediately showered me. The followed up tem then arranged to come to my home (on 14.2.13) only to find tha what my daughter had been telling them was fact. They could not get me up easily (2 of them ) due to the pain I was till in. My blood pressure also immediately rose when they did eventually get me standing for a couple of minutes. These 2 representatives from the hospital agreed that I should not have been discharged and they immediately called for yet another ambulance to take me back to hospital where I still am at the moment. On arriving at the hospital on 16.02.13 My daughter found that the staff had notbothered to put my hearing aids in. I do not hear at all without them but a little with them in. She will be visiting regularly so no doubt she will do any further reviews necessary. The email address being used is my daughters
