"Good care for finger injury"

About: Crawley Hospital / Urgent treatment centre Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead)

(as the patient),

A splinter under fingernail and beginning to fester. I went to Crawley Hospital

Urgent treatment centre. Was treated promptly and with care and courtesy. A photo was taken of the finger and sent to Queen Victoria Minor injuries unit. An appointment was made for me there for the following morning (a Sunday!).

There I was treated again treated extremely well. Was given a local anaesthetic and the splinter was removed without pain.

Thank you to both centres for brilliant care and service.
