Anything else?
Came in for the above somewhat scary procedure last tues, and have to say the care on all fronts was exemplary .Especially from the lovely nurse who looked after all of us in her small cupboard of a room( due to alterations, apparently , tho' she gave not a hint that this was making her job that much harder , which it obviously was). NHS you have a star!!
Also due to an upsurge in my Atrial Fibrillation lately, I have recently had the dubious pleasure of a number of visits to A and E ,and a 3 day stay in a cardiac ward ( sorry can't remember the dates, was nov/ dec last year and I just don't recognise some of the posts about A and E , where the staff are obviously working under almost constant huge pressure, and I felt, very humanely .
Also, a special thank you to the female doctor who went out on a limb for me, and allowed me to temporarily leave my cardiac ward to see a concert my son was in . That was again a very humane and touching thing to do , and I was really grateful.
All I can say to the many moaners grizzling on your feedback pages is .. pay more taxes so the staff don't have to work under such pressure, and in such difficult circumstances.
The NHS is a jewel in our national life and it and the people who choose to work in it deserve our thanks and respect , not the constant carping and pressure to do ever more that seems to be the case these days.
Thank you brighton hospital for the universally excellent treatment you have given me over the months/ years.
PS I am honestly not a NHS worker , or have any relation who is , this is a genuine , impartial post .
