The care was first class couldn’t have asked for better- my problem is there was a lot of refurbishment at the hospital. I went to the receipting and was directed to the Endoscopy unit which was in an entirely different location. I would appreciate it if a small map/directions was printed at the back page of the appointment letter giving directions to the unit and which of the 2 car parks to use.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the care you received at our hospital. It is always good to receive feedback; we try to ensure we share examples of good practice and also that we learn from any negative experiences. Regarding your suggestion about having a map/directions sent out with appointment letters, I can confirm that maps do already get sent out with most appointment letters but this is still in the process of being rolled out and will eventually cover all appointments.
