After recent gall bladder surgery, I was given a bedpan which was badly positioned and most of the urine missed the pan. I was left lying in that wet bed for approximately 4 hours while I waited for a bed in a ward.

When I did eventually get a bed in Willow Ward, I was told there was only a yoghurt for me to eat - after starving from the night before. It was only when the night staff came on I was given a sandwich, some meuseli and a cup of tea.
