Had a day surgery (arthroscopy) and the staff from start to finish were incredible!
Went to SAL (surgical admissions lounge) first thing in the morning. Didn't have to wait too long before I started the process of seeing docs and nurses. The registrar was very nice and explained the procedure clearly. Then I saw the anaesthetist who was charming and put me at ease following that I had my observations checked by a lovely nurse called Grace.
I was then walked down to theatre and was met by the theatre nurse and a student who were both really friendly and professional. The staff in recovery were great also.
All in all, despite the pain I was in the staff ensured my experience was as pleasant as possible and I was kept smiling. Nearly forgot the 2 physios who again were friendly professional and charming.
Well done LCH my experience with staff was brilliant.
"Excellent care by lovely staff"
