Twice in the last 2 months I have needed to use choose and book for my 7 yr old son to be seen at hospital by a consultant. On both occasions we have only been offered one choice of hospital and on both occasions we have been told there are no appointments the hospital will write to you with an appointment.
So no facility to choose where or when and no option to book! Surely the GP could have just written to the hospital asking for appointments if this is the case why add another layer of admin?
