"Very unhappy visit to eye clinic"

About: Ipswich Hospital

Anything else?

Recently I met my father in law at Ipswich eye clinic, he was there half an hour before me, as he has to have wheelchair ambulance, he is 87 years old and diabetic. I have no complaints for the ambulance service, but do feel that a wait of 3 hours unacceptable.

My father in law has to wear a cafiter and this was very concerning for him, as he was in a dilema as to wheather to go to the toilet, and risk missing his place in the extra large quee. It was very busy and I do feel that they need more doctors. Very disapointed with the overall orgainisation.

We are very sorry that there was a long wait. We are looking at how we can improve services so that no one has to wait.
