"Wrong telephone number in phone book & wrong advice about range of services"

I looked up the number for Ormskirk & District General hospital in the 2007 / 08 BT Phone Book for St Helens under "Hospital - General". On page 113 it gives (01695) 577111. The person who answered told me this was a "help desk" and I needed 547471. I called this and the number did not ring. I looked in Yellow Pages and found the number was (01704) 547541.

When I called I was told by a male staff nurse in A&E to take my father to the Ormskirk Minor Injuries Department as he may need an x-ray. When I got to Ormskirk the staff at the Minor Injuries said they could not do an x-ray for my father.
