Anything else?
My husband was admitted through A and E suffering friom a severe infection and stayed at the hospital for three weeks. Although a bed was not available he received immediate treatment in Aand E and from then on we were very happy with the care and professionalism of all the staff members we encountered from the tea ladies who offered me and other visitors tea and cake to the team of doctors who were very happy to sit and explain treatments. The nurses seemed happy to be doing their job and were always keen to interact with both patients and visitors and just seemed to have time for people. My husband has been a patient at several local hospitals and St Peters shows how it can and should be done. We have asked for his on going care of a chronic condition to be transferred to the team at St Peters as we felt so comfortable in their care. Thank you to the May Ward team for making a difficult time easier.
