I have attended the MIU on a few occasions over the last couple of years and can only commend the nursing staff for their professionalism, kindness and humour. Having noted a couple of disparaging comments I feel compelled to defend the MIU as I have witnessed 1st hand the nurses being abused by members of the public who demand that their inappropriate attendances be dealt with despite the fact they are not minor or injuries. There is plenty of information accessible by the public which clearly explains what they can and cannot do.

Well done all of you, keep up the good work.
