After having a heart attack in October 2012, I was admitted into the Northern General in sheffield for an angiogram.
My stay in hospital was about two weeks. The care of the staff were brilliant on chesterman 1. Nothing was any trouble. I couldn't ask for better care.
The ward was kept immaculate and the food was beautiful.
I have been in 3 hospitals and this was the best.
Then in November I was admitted again to the chesterman wing and I stayed in hospital for 7 weeks until in mid December 2012 I underwent a quadrupal heart bypass.
The staff from domestics to nurses, doctors and surgeons were brilliant.
They explained everything they made me comfortable.
I can't thank the surgeon Mr. Briffa and his team enough for giving me a new chance of life.
I did not worry about the surgery as I knew I would be well looked after.
I was up and about within two days and discharged five days after surgery
