(as a relative),

Last night my husband came in having had a bad fall.

I would like to say how well he was attended to. His nurse in A and E was Sheila who was superb in her attendance to him. She was so helpful and caring, it was a pleasure to meet someone so professional and dedicated, and with such a charming manner, who put us at ease straight away.

I must point out that the cleaner in the waiting room was very thorough.

In all our experience of the Surrey Hospital was very good. Thank you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your positive experience and I hope your husband is feeling better.

I am delighted to hear that you had such a good experience of care at the hospital. I will ensure that Sheila receives your thanks. Over the winter months A and E gets particularly busy, so staff are always delighted to hear from patients as to their feedback on the care received as we strive to do our utmost to deliver the best possible care and experience every day around the clock.

I will also feedback to our A and E cleaner, this can be a tricky job when the department is so busy and constant traffic in and out - so I am very pleased to hear how thorough you witnessed the cleaning to be. Cleaners can sometimes be forgotten when acknowledgements come in and they are an important part of the team so they will be thrilled to hear of your comments.
