Anything else?
So after three Outpatients Appts-finally Surgery
is booked.Unfortunately no Bladder repair. As other unplanned
surgery had to be carried out at the time.So ended up
staying on Gynae unit.No Nurse could explain the procedure
that been carried out,as they couldn't read Consultants writing!
Eventually see Consultant who explained he hat to carry
out a Rectocele and would need further surgery on bladder.
So follow up appt bkd then cancelled as Consultant off
sick???Rebooked for 9am arrive in Gynae Outpatinets to
see Consultant - ended up seeing his Registrar as Consultant
on long term leave.Wasnt informed of this at the desk when
Booking in.So 1hr 15 mins later I see Registrar who agrees with me
to get referred to another Gynae Consultant for the required procedure?
So now back to GP to do another referral.Wish I had gone to Southampton
originally! Poor Communication,Care on the wards is minimal.Dirty conditions,
sloppy food.Lets hope and pray its better service at Princess Anne's.As the Gynae unit
at QA is very shoddy. And an Outpatients clinic full of misinformed patients, waiting ages for
Appts whilst the Receptionist stands chatting in back office unaware of the queue she has at the desk!
"No Communication!"
