My partner recently had a routine operation in this hospital. Though not a huge procedure none the less a general anathestic and we were both slightly concerned. Within moments of arriving we realised what a fantastic small set up this is, all the horror stories of huge hospitals vanished as caring staff made the situation very bearable. There was no waiting around, all very straight forward, I was kept informed all the time and offered tea, coffee and biscuits and we were back in the car shortly afterwards. The operation was a success and he is recovering well but what we remember is the care of the staff and the efficiency of this hospital. It just could not be improved.
