"Little help from Royal Bolton Antenatal Clinic"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I visited the Royal Bolton hospital's Antenatal clinic as an outpatient last month. I had to wait for nearly an hour before I was seen by a doctor, and when I was seen, I felt that I had wasted my time being there because it was no help whatsoever. I came away more anxious and certainly less confident than before I went in.

I have been invited to go back to see the consultant again for my unanswered questions. Thank goodness the nursing staff are consistent and helpful!

Our staff do appreciate that pregnancy can be an anxious time, so we're very sorry that you felt you left clinic without the reassurance you needed. Hopefully your next appointment will give you the answers you need. Your remarks have been passed on to the staff.
