Overall, I had a poor experience at the Barnsley District General hospital. I was in a side room which was cold; I wasn't allowed any extra bedding after requesting it; and I was generally made to feel unwelcome. I was told off when I forgot to take my medicine, and nurses continually left my door open, so I had to get up and close it. I was very glad when I was eventually allowed to go home.
