This is a terrible hospital for day surgery. The system is shambolic with people all asked to come at 7 am in the morning only to sit in a waiting room being given no feedback for hours and the be told at 4 pm the operation is cancelled and they will be asked to come again within 28 days. After 2 such events, and realising that fellow waiting patients had done this 3 times, what can you say? The attitude of staff was shocking. Three nurses moved around doing little than supervising what is a glorified waiting room (from which you are asked not to move for the entire day) debating annual leave arrangements for us all to have to listen to and not having the courtesy to come and update patients periodically about what is happening.

Never ever ever again. Patient choice is my only hope.
