What a breath of fresh air. This centre provides more than one could expect from top quality private medicine. I found the centre to have re-invented the NHS into the most pleasant and professional service I have ever seen.

From the excellent assessment stages, where you are seen without fuss or pomp, and where if you need an examination then you get one a few minutes later be it an x-ray or MRI just up the road, to the re-confirming of all appointments by post and phone, and where they keep you informed at all stages.

Then on day of surgery you are seen promptly and in private by all concerned and everything is explained in the right language. So you come in, get ready, go to anesthetics, see the show (see the operation if you wish in certain cases such as knee surgery). You come out into recovery and are looked after one-on-one by the most caring staff I can ever imagine.

After theatre you are allowed drinks and have your sandwich. If you cannot leave immediately they organise more food and drink later.

As you leave reception will phone a taxi for you.

I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone that looked after me, from Reception through to the Consultants.
