"Wonderful staff working in CCU"

About: Leighton Hospital

Anything else?

I have never been a fan of Leighton Hospital after hearing some bad reviews. However when my father was admitted over Christmas my view has changed.

He was admitted through A&E with pneumonia and was shortly after transferred to the Coronary Care Unit. The staff were all so very kind to both myself and my Mum, and gave my Dad the best care we could have hoped for. They gave Dad the very best chance he could have had and wonderful care throughout the time he was on the ward.

Although nobody wishes to have to go to hospital, if another loved one was admitted, I would feel comfortable and secure they were receiving the very best treatment possible.

Response from Leighton Hospital

Dear Sarah Thank you for your positive comments and for you taking the time to give this feed back to the staff on the Coronary Care Unit. I will ensure that your kind words are shared with the members of the team. I hope that your comments will offer reassurance to other members of the public that there are teams of staff working at Leighton hospital who genuinely care about the patients they are looking after and provide high quality care. Very best wishes, Loraine Cornes (Matron)
