Anything else?
From the moment I arrived at A&E with suspect stroke sent with letter from my GP I was seen and directed into Whitbread Ward where I had immediate attention from nurses and doctors, they were all so kind, I was given various tests and blood tests in minutes, then seen by a doctor who then passed me onto another doctor, he then instructed a MIRA scan which was carried out sometime later, thankfully all came ok, I was looked after in that ward by all staff as was my wife and son, I was then visited by a nurse who was very very kind and explained everything and said they were to keep me in over the weekend for observation and for more tests on the Monday, I was transferred to Howard ward where the service by all staff including the tea ladies was excellent, on the Monday I had further tests which thankfully were ok, I was then visited by a doctor and the doctor who I had seen previously who explained everything and gave ne more tests before saying I had had no stroke of any kind and that I could go home with selected tablets they prescribed, also again visited by the nurse, by the way the food throughout my short stay (thankfully) was excellent with good choices, I cannot praise enough the care etc etc I received
"Excellent attention"
