"Eye Screen Department Inefficiency"

I had an eye screening appointment at your Diabetic Department on Wednesday 28th May 2008 11:40am.I arrived on time,there was nobody on reception,I signed in and was immediately taken by a nurse to a room where my blood pressure was taken,my eyes tested in a unprofessional manner,and eye drops put in my eyes.I was told I would have to wait fifteen minutes for the eye drops to work.When I sat down there was one person in front of me.When I walked out of your hospital without completing the eye screening process, the eye drops had been in my eyes for one hour and twenty minutes and several patients arriving after me, completed the process before me.One of these patients pointed out to the nurse,the same nurse who had put my eye drops in,that I should be treated before her, this was disregarded.When I left, I forgot to sign out,presumably a search was carried out at the end of the day to try and locate me,after all I could have collapsed in the toilets or something.I suggest you grab this department by the proverbial short and curlys and sharpen it up. And as for the sign in/out policy, I found it to be a total ineffective waste of time.
