(as the patient),

I was a patient on ward B1 at the Rotherham District General hospital for the treatment of back pain. The standard of care which I received was, on the whole, very good.

However, I was annoyed on one occasion by a male staff nurse speaking down to me. His attitude was not acceptable. I told him immediately to speak to me in a proper manner, which he then did.

We are sorry that the attitude of one member of staff caused you some concern. However we are glad that you highlighted this at the time and that it immediately improved.
