"Rude and lying staff"

I have been having treatment at this hospital for many years. I was referred to the IV team and was treated by an extremely rude and disrectful member of staff. A particularly unpleasant tirade was witnessed by 4 other NHS staff. This particular member of staff had facts about my referal incorrect and would not listen to me when I tried to correct her and insisted she was right and I was wrong, she would not look into it as she was too busy to. She made so many errors it was as if she had me confused with another patient. One of the staff that witnessed her rudeness and inappropriate behaviour commented about it. I made a formal complaint and in response received a letter which did not refer to the rudeness simply tried to 'spin' the complaint around to something else entirely. I next had a recorded meeting and since then have had a follow up letter whereby some of the staff which witnessed the tirade are now lying about what was said. Just goes to show how inappropriate the situation they orchestrated was. I am now going through the Ombudsman. l don't think anybody should be treated the way I was. I was treated badly by a member of staff and others are now lying about it and the people who should be doing something about are not willing to. If you go to this hospital and things go wrong for you don't expect them to be put right.
