"Still remember those happy days!"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Anything else?

I gave birth on 19 of March, almost a year ago! I visited George King hospital for all my checks and scan, and was preparing to give birth there. But likely ended up in the Queens Hospital. Initially I was in day assess unit. Staff was very good, some of them are very sympathetic, some a just tired, but we are all people you know. Delivery unit widwifes were proffesional, explaining everything, talking etc. as for waiting time for the room, we waited about 3 hours, had lunch in the local hospital restaurant, good quality and tasty food by the way! I was induced and prepared myself for a long delivery, but it happed faster then i thought. During labour i tried gas&air, but it didn't work for me and when i asked for epidural and the anaesthesiolog came it turns out that it was too late , the baby was on there way already. I thank God for such a lovely delivery and all the people who was around me! God bless you all!

Postnatal care was lovely too. We waited for the room some time, but i don't remember how much. So many were going on in our minds! We spend this time for rest, my husband helped me to bath, we had snacks and hot drinks provided by hospital.

What else i remember, as that when i was pushing there were around 6 people, helping, consultating with each other. And there were several emergency sitiations at the moment, so they needed to act and redpond very fast. I had some stiches and waited long (it seems for me) for the doctor to be free and during stiching she run to the emergency call several times. But she was very concentrated and still smiling to the deadlines.

I spend in the postnatal unit 2 days. Staff there were busy, but still managed to find time to answer all your questions and help. Baby was checked by pediatrician. I was cheched many times during my stay there. It took as several hours to be free because the nurse was very busy, dont even have time to eat. But eventually we managed to go home with our new arrivals :)

I wish everyone good healht and smooth delivery!
