A little while ago I had a serious fall at home necessitating a visit to St. Richard’s Hospital. I would now like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all who have helped in my recovery from a distressing accident.

Firstly the paramedic and the technician who initially came to my aid and, with expertise and compassion, took me to the A. And E. Department where I was given much help and care. I am most grateful to the surgeon and his excellent team who performed an amazing operation.

My thanks also to the nurses, all assistants and physios on Birdham Ward- their hard work, care and cheerfulness kept me in good spirits.

So - thank you St. Richard’s, how very lucky we are to have you here!
