I attended general surgery and was very disappointed with the lack of communication and consideration on the ward. The actual surgeon and theatre staff were brilliant but the ward staff totally ignored me from arriving at 7.30 until the actual surgeon came to me in the afternoon. There was a lack of care and the bed was dirty, this was not a pleasant experience for me at all
