After seeing my GP on Friday afternoon I was referred to the eye casualty on sat morning with flashing lights and black floaters in my left eye. I was seen within half an hour and assessed. Within 2 hours I had received laser eye surgery for a torn retina. I can't thank the department enough for their prompt treatment and for the wonderful care I received from the doctor who performed the surgery. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic service in Leicester as your sight is very important. Thank you very much.
